The Ohio Bobcats rebounded from an early deficit and got a pair of clutch free throws from freshman Antonio Campbell down the stretch to defeat Cleveland State, 64-62, at The Convo.
Campbell paced the 'Cats with a career-high 21 points, nine of which came from the charity stripe. Treg Setty and Stevie Taylor were spark plugs off the bench, scoring 13 apiece.
Brynn Forbes led the Vikings with 20 points, including four three-pointers. Cleveland State entered the contest with the second-best three-point percentage in the country, but went just 5-of-19 (26.3 percent) from behind the arc tonight.
Next up for Ohio is IPFW. The Mastadons defeated Akron, 97-91, in Fort Wayne, Ind. Tip-off is Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at The Convo.
