New Lexington senior Matt Adams has another accomplishment to add to his already stellar season; a national championship. Adams defeated Norton's Mitch Bischoff to win this year's senior division NHSCA National Championship.
"I got my mindset right and went in there and wrestled my match and did what I had to do," Adams stated. "I'm happy for the school, the community and everybody that supported me."

Adams will hit the mat in a rematch with Mitch Bischoff, the grappler he beat in this year's state finals. Getting to this point was not an easy journey. Adams had to defeat two Division-1 wrestlers in Christian Rebottaro, Michigan State Recruit, and Gabe Beyer, a Penn State recruit.
Meadowbrook senior quarterback Dalton Wiggins has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career next season at Cincinnati Christian University.

The West swept the East in the District 12 All-Star games Friday night at Buckeye Trail. The West girls won, 96-86, and the West boys won, 132-112. Fort Frye's Alexis Enochs earned MVP honors in the girls game with 15 points, while John Glenn's Matt Weir won MVP in the boys game with 25 points. Philo's Kara Hutcheson won the girls three-point shooting contest, while John Glenn's Tanner Slack took home the hardware in the boys dunk contest.
Maysville senior Kaleigh Bennett signed an official letter of intent this morning to bowl collegiately at Wright State.
Bennett has had a stellar bowling career, including a top 20 finish in this year's state tournament. Bennett was named Honorable Mention All-Ohio this season after posting a score of 587 points in a 3-game series.
