The Muskies' season ends with a loss.

Muskingum (2-8, 2-7 OAC) led 9-7 at halftime, but Kyle Wolfe's touchdown reception in the fourth quarter gave Otterbein (7-3, 6-3) the win.

Jack Junker forced a safety in the second quarter. Junker had 10 tackles on the day, and also forced a fumble.

Steve Mamak led the Muskingum ground game with 16 carries for 69 yards.

At Wright State University's Nutter Center, Newark Catholic loses a game for only the third time this season, but wins the match to advance to the State Championship game for the second straight year.

Licking Valley senior Damon Fulk kicked the game-winning 27 yard field goal in last week's win over Dover.

Fulk has been automatic all season long, but has a unique kicking style that can be traced back to a childhood toy.

In a year where Tri-Valley won its sixth straight MVL Championship, the Scotties also dominate the All-MVL awards with four players named to the first team. Second place West Muskingum has three players named to the first team. Listed below are all of the 2005 MVL Boy's Soccer Award Winners.

At John Glenn High School, Dorian Bass was a two-time first team all-Ohio honoree, two-time MVL Player of the Year, four-time first team all-MVL member and he also ended his career second on the school's all-time scoring list.
