The fifth ranked Polar Bears dominated the Muskies Saturday.

Backup QB Kyan Johnson rushed for a 59 yard touchdown score in the first quarter, but that was pretty much it for offense.

The Muskies committed four turnovers, sealing their fate.

Buckeye Trail proved to be way too much for Rosecrans.

The Warriors were led by tailback Steve Beros, who had 129 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown.

At Jaycee Golf Course in Zanesville for the MVL Golf Tournament, John Glenn wins its second consecutive league championship and sixth in nine years. The Muskies team score of 307 is 11 strokes better than second place Tri-Valley. West Muskingum's string of two straight MVL titles comes to an end, as the Tornadoes finish third.

You probably recognize the name Kristin Daughtery. As a sophomore, she led River View girl's basketball to a Regional Final and hopes to do the same this year. But first, it's volleyball season. Daughtery also stars on the 12-1 state ranked team.
