LOS ANGELES (AP) — Steven Matz scattered two hits over six scoreless innings, Wilmer Flores went 4 for 5, and the New York Mets beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 8-0 Sunday to take two out of three from the NL West leaders.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Seattle rookie Mike Montgomery put together another fine start, pitching the Mariners past the Oakland Athletics 2-1 Sunday.

Coming off two straight shutouts, Montgomery (4-2) gave up one run and six hits in 5 2-3 innings. He walked one and struck out two.

STANWOOD, Mich. (AP) — Daniela Iacobelli birdied the final two holes Sunday for a one-stroke victory in the Symetra Tour's Tullymore Classic.

The 27-year-old former Florida Tech player closed with a 6-under 66 to finish at 16-under 200 at Tullymore Golf Club.

Lee Lopez and Japan's Haruka Morita-WanyaoLu and Chie Arimura tied for second. Lopez birdied six of the last seven holes for a 62, Morita-WanyaoLu had a 67, and Arimura a 68.

HALIFAX, Nova Scotia (AP) — Abraham Ancer won the Nova Scotia Open on Sunday for his first Tour title, beating Bronson Burgoon with a birdie on the first hole of a playoff.

The 24-year-old Ancer became the tour's fifth Mexican winner, following Keoke Cotner, Esteban Toledo, Alex Aragon and Carlos Ortiz. Ancer was born in Texas and has dual citizenship.

WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (AP) — Danny Lee parred the second hole of a four-man playoff to win The Greenbrier Classic on Sunday for his first PGA Tour victory.

The South Korean-born New Zealander earned $1.2 million and became the ninth first-time winner on the tour this season.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Longtime Chiefs executive Jack Steadman, the architect of the only Super Bowl-winning team in franchise history, has died. He was 86.

The team says Steadman died early Sunday of natural causes. Steadman had been dealing with Alzheimer's disease in recent years.

ATLANTA (AP) — The Atlanta Braves have recalled right-hander Arodys Vizcaino and promoted right-hander David Carpenter from Triple-A Gwinnett.
