NEW ORLEANS (AP) — A week after he was sentenced to more than 18 years in prison in federal court, disgraced ex-football star Darren Sharper is set for formal sentencing in state court to charges that he drugged and raped multiple women.

LEICESTER, England (AP) — Danny Drinkwater has become the latest Leicester player to commit his future to the English champions.

ZURICH (AP) — FIFA says its compensation panel which must set President Gianni Infantino's salary will meet next week.

Infantino has worked without a salary deal since being elected six months ago to head world soccer's governing body, and described a $2 million offer as insulting.
