RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina State honored Kay Yow on Sunday — first by wearing pink, then by duplicating one of the late coach's last big upsets.

The Wolfpack knocked off No. 10 Duke 72-59 behind 23 points from Miah Spencer.

WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) — Kevin Ferguson had career highs of 23 points and 12 rebounds to help Army beat American University 72-63 on Sunday.

Ferguson, a junior, had previous bests of 20 points and 11 boards. He made 9 of 11 field goals to record his second double-double of the season.

BOSTON (AP) — Celtics forward Jared Sullinger will miss the rest of the season with a broken bone in his left foot.

Boston made the announcement on Sunday.

Sullinger was sent back to Boston on Thursday to have his foot examined. Doctors diagnosed him with a metatarsal stress fracture.

FALUN, Sweden (AP) — Severin Freund helped Germany win the mixed team ski jump event at the Nordic skiing world championships Sunday by doing just enough in the final round to hold off Norway.

Germany led after three of four rounds but Norway's Rune Velta — who beat Freund to the individual normal hill gold on Saturday — put pressure on his rival by soaring 95.5 meters with his team's last jump. Freund did even better, though, jumping 96 meters to secure the gold....

JUPITER, Fla. (AP) — For Miami Marlins pitcher Dan Haren, the relocation from Southern California to South Florida will take some getting used to.

MONTMELO, Spain (AP) — Fernando Alonso crashed his McLaren and was taken to the hospital during Formula One preseason testing on Sunday, before Romain Grosjean steered his Lotus to the fastest lap of the week.

Pastor Maldonado had already put Lotus on top of the timesheet on Thursday and Saturday, and Grosjean bettered that by setting the fastest time of the four-day test with a lap of 1 minute, 24.067 seconds.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — The Milwaukee Bucks have waived center Larry Sanders, who has been out since Dec. 23 for personal reasons.

Sanders was suspended by the NBA Jan. 16 for violating the league's drug policy. He was listed as "not with team — personal" for Milwaukee's Feb. 11 game against Sacramento, an indication his suspension ended.
