MIDWAY, Ky. (AP) — Some of the best-known farms in Kentucky's scenic horse country are borrowing from another of the state's contributions to the good life — bourbon whiskey distilleries — in an effort to win new recruits to an aging and shrinking fan base.

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Matt Kemp and Brett Wallace hit back-to-back home runs and Andrew Cashner recovered from a shaky first inning to lead the San Diego Padres to a 6-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night.

OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Robinson Cano, Kyle Seager and Leonys Martin hit home runs, Hisashi Iwakuma pitched seven solid innings and the Seattle Mariners beat the Oakland Athletics 8-2 on Tuesday night.

CHICAGO (AP) — Blackhawks center Artem Anisimov is on the mend after undergoing right wrist surgery.

Team physician Dr. Michael Terry says Anisimov should be able to return to "full hockey activities" in six to eight weeks. He had the operation on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old Anisimov, who was acquired in a trade with Columbus on June 30, had 20 goals and 22 assists in 77 games in his first season with the Blackhawks.
