PHOENIX (AP) — Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose has been ruled out against the Phoenix Suns with a sore left ankle.
Rose tested his ankle with balance work before Wednesday night's game, but coach Fred Hoiberg decided to hold him out. The 2011 NBA MVP was injured late in Monday's win over Indiana, when he scored 23 points in a 96-95 victory.
Kirk Hinrich was set to start in Rose's place at point guard against Phoenix.
HOUSTON (AP) — Devonta Pollard scored 25 points and grabbed nine rebounds as Houston beat Prairie View A&M 110-69 on Wednesday night.
