CHICAGO (AP) — The annual 333-mile sailboat race from Chicago to Mackinac, Michigan ended with Flying Buffalo winning the Mackinac Trophy Division of 108th running of the Chicago Yacht Club event for the fourth time.

Flying Buffalo, owned by Al and Bob Declercq, completed the race at a corrected time of 46 hours 52 minutes, an hour ahead of second place Providence.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Nashville Predators have signed restricted free-agent defenseman Petter Granberg to a two-year contract.

Granberg's deal will be worth $575,000 at the NHL level and $175,000 at the American Hockey League level in 2016-17. His contract will be worth $650,000 in 2017-18.
