ATLANTA (AP) — A person with knowledge of the deals says the Atlanta Hawks are finalizing a trade for San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter.

The person says the Spurs and Hawks have agreed on the trade but the remainder of the deal is being finalized. The person spoke to The Associated Press on Wednesday on condition of anonymity because the deal has not been announced.

Four golf organizations that have tournaments scheduled at Donald Trump courses do not share his views — not on Mexican immigrants, or recent comments that the golf industry knows that he's right.

WRENTHAM, Mass. (AP) — Former Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes has pleaded guilty in a hit-and-run crash that injured three people and will serve a year of probation.

Spikes appeared Wednesday in Wrentham District Court, where he admitted negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of personal injury, operating an uninsured vehicle, speeding and a marked-lanes violation.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — The Carolina Hurricanes have officially bought out Alexander Semin's contract.

The team announced the buyout Wednesday, after the enigmatic forward cleared irrevocable waivers. Carolina waived him Tuesday with the intent of buying out his deal.

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Flyers have signed goaltender Michal Neuvirth to a multiyear contract.

Neuvirth replaces Ray Emery as Philadelphia's No. 2 goalie behind Steve Mason. Terms of Wednesday's deal were not announced.

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — The NBA again sets the standard for diversity among major professional sports leagues.

According to a report released Wednesday by the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport, the NBA received an A-plus grade for racial hiring and B-plus for gender hiring on its annual report card. Its overall grade of A was its seventh in a row.

METAIRIE, La. (AP) — The New Orleans Pelicans and 7-foot center Alexis Ajinca have agreed on a four-year, $20.2 million extension.

The 27-year-old Ajinca's new contract was confirmed by his agent, Mark Bartelstein, in an email to The Associated Press.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Johnny Cueto made his best start yet since returning from a sore elbow, allowing four hits in eight innings, and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Minnesota Twins 2-1 on Wednesday to take their interleague series.
