SYDNEY (AP) — Fiji will begin defense of its IRB world sevens title on Dec. 2-3 when the opening tournament of the 10-round, 2016-17 season is held at Dubai, followed a week later at Cape Town.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Joc Pederson doubled in the tying run and then scored the go-ahead run on a throwing error in the fourth inning, helping the Los Angeles Dodgers to an 8-2 victory over Cincinnati on Tuesday night, extending the Reds' season-high skid to nine straight.

The Dodgers' eight-game winning streak against the Reds is their longest active run against any opponent and their most since beating the Reds nine straight times in 2008-09.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Russell Westbrook had 36 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists, and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Golden State Warriors 118-94 on Tuesday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference Finals and put the defending NBA champions on the brink of elimination.
