HOUSTON (AP) — Mike Moustakas homered in the 11th inning to lift the Kansas City Royals to a 6-4 win over the Houston Astros on Wednesday night.

Moustakas has been off to a tough start this season and was hitting .098 before his solo shot to the seats in right field off Jerome Williams (0-1) to lead off the 11th.

A small group of Royals fans stood and yelled 'Moooooose' as he rounded the bases after his first homer this year.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Hanley Ramirez has left the game against the San Francisco Giants after getting hit by a pitch on the top of his left hand.

Ramirez was hit on a pitch clocked at 90 mph from Ryan Vogelsong to open the seventh inning Wednesday night. Ramirez slammed his helmet to the ground and hopped around in pain after the ball bounced off his hand.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) — The Memphis Grizzlies had every reason to ease up in the regular season finale after pushing hard the past three months to reach the postseason.
