STORRS, Conn. (AP) — University of Connecticut forward Rakim Lubin has announced plans to transfer at the end of the spring semester.

The 6-foot-8, 260-pound freshman played sparingly for the Huskies, who finished a disappointing 20-15 and lost in the first round of the NIT.

The Packers on Tuesday announced they had re-signed defensive tackles Letroy Guion and B.J. Raji. Terms of the deals were not announced.

SURPRISE, Ariz. (AP) — Kyuji Fujikawa failed to retire any of the five batters he faced in an eight-run ninth inning as a Texas Rangers' split squad lost to the Chicago Cubs 15-10 Tuesday.

PHOENIX (AP) — Jay Bruce snapped a spring slump with a three-run homer among his two hits and the Cincinnati Reds beat the Milwaukee Brewers 10-4 on Tuesday.

Bruce, who was hitting .162 coming in, scored twice and singled during a five-run sixth inning.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (AP) — Shannon Jackson and Kriss Proctor have been hired as assistant coaches, Indiana State head coach Mike Sanford announced Tuesday.
