NEWARK, Del. (AP) — Tina Charles scored 17 points and Maya Moore added 13 to help the U.S. women's basketball team beat France 84-62 on Wednesday night in an exhibition game.

DEL MAR, Calif. (AP) — Long-shot Gold Rush Dancer rallied on the far outside entering the stretch and held off Tough It Out by a half-length Wednesday in the $150,000 Real Good Deal Stakes at Del Mar.

STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) — WTVA-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2afJbxw ) that a municipal court has cleared former Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott on charges of speeding and drunk driving.

The Dallas Cowboys draft pick appeared in Starkville Municipal Court on Wednesday to answer the charges, and was found not guilty.

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Sam Wheeler, a renowned land speed motorcycle racer, has died after a racing accident at Utah's famous Bonneville Salt Flats. He was 72.
