LAS VEGAS (AP) — The Las Vegas Bowl will stick with the Saturday-before-Christmas schedule established in 2012.

ESPN Events announced Monday that the 24th Royal Purple Las Vegas Bowl will be played at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 19 at Sam Boyd Stadium and will be televised on ABC.

The game matches the top choice from the Mountain West Conference or BYU against the sixth pick from the Pac-12.

AMMAN, Jordan (AP) — Jordan's Prince Ali bin al-Hussein says Sepp Blatter's resignation as FIFA's president was "the right move."
