LONDON (AP) — Kell Brook won his second defense of the IBF welterweight belt to stay undefeated, while fellow British boxer Anthony Joshua enhanced his burgeoning reputation in the heavyweight division with a second-round stoppage of experienced American Kevin Johnson.

DALLAS (AP) — Rain and wet field conditions washed out play Saturday in the Dallas NCAA baseball regional.

On Sunday, Texas (30-26) will play Dallas Baptist (43-14) in an elimination game, followed by a winners' game between Oregon State (39-16-1) and VCU (38-22). The Texas-Dallas Baptist winner will then face the Oregon State-VCU loser in another elimination game.

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Brewers reliever Will Smith will have a hearing Monday for his appeal of an eight-game suspension after being found with a foreign substance on his arm while pitching.

Milwaukee manager Craig Counsell said Saturday that he wasn't sure how soon the team would find out the outcome of the appeal. The Brewers are scheduled to face the Cardinals in St. Louis on Monday night.

DETROIT (AP) — Carlos Munoz has his first career IndyCar victory, winning Saturday at Belle Isle when the race was called because of rain after 47 laps.

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (AP) — The NCAA regional game between Illinois and Notre Dame was postponed Saturday night because of rain.

On Friday in the opening games, Illinois (48-8-1) beat Ohio 10-3, and Notre Dame (37-21) topped Wright State 13-7.

In the other game Saturday, Wright State led Ohio 5-2 after two innings when play was suspended because of rain. The elimination game will resume Sunday.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Alexis Osorio threw a complete game and struck out nine to help Alabama defeat Oregon 2-1 on Saturday in a Women's College World Series elimination game.
