Doris Virginia Iden (June 21, 1917 – January 12, 2015)

Doris Virginia Iden 97 formerly of Glenford passed away on Monday January 12, 2015 in Zanesville.
She was born in Muskingum County, Ohio on June 21, 1917 to the late John and Bessie Geyer Wheeler. She was a Homemaker and a member of Gratiot United Methodist Church where she was in Esther Circle and played the Piano for over 40 years.
She is survived by a son H. Edward (Alma Mae) Iden of Newark, two sisters; Martha Vogel and Joann (James) Hatfield both of Zanesville, three grandchildren; Tami (Craig) George of Norwich, Brent (Ann) Iden of Glenford, and Amanda (Wade) Hatfield of Adamsville, Seven great grandchildren; Hailey George, Hannah George, Emileigh Brocklehurst, Evan Iden, Owen Iden, Wesley Hatfield, and Kyleigh Hatfield, and a great-great granddaughter Quinnci Alexander.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Cletus Iden who passed away on November 24, 1992, a brother Bernard Wheeler, and a sister Julia Reed.

Calling hours will be 5-8pm on Thursday January 15 and one hour prior to services at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Matt Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Poplar Forks Cemetery.
