Dorothy M. Cain (March 15, 1926 – April 26, 2014)

ZANESVILLE
Dorothy Marie Cain 88, of Zanesville, passed away April 26, 2014 at Willow Haven Nursing Home. She was born March 15, 1926 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Cleo and Florence Bell Beisser. She was retired from Rink’s Department Store and was a member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church.
Dorothy is survived by one son David Raymond (Jerrie) Cain of Zanesville and one daughter Dianna (Glenn) Portier of Chambersburg, PA; one sister Blanche Drumm of Newark, OH; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Chester Beisser MIA WWII and Ralph Beisser; two sisters Marion Miller and Mildred Layland and the father of her children Dwight Cain.
Calling hours will be held 6-8pm on Monday April 28, 2014 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday April 29, 2014 in the Snouffer Chapel with Pastor Matt Blau officiating. Burial will follow in Guernsey Memorial Gardens.
