Gloria Jean Fenton (May 1, 1942 – October 27, 2014)

ZANESVILLE
Gloria Jean Fenton, 72 of Zanesville passed away Monday October 27, 2014 at Genesis Hopspice and Palliative Care Morrison House. She was born May 1, 1942 in Zanesville a daughter of the late Oran and Alice “Lenora†Mayle Chappelear. She had worked at PCC Airfoil, was a member of the Nazerene Church in Stovertown, VFW, American Legion Post 29, Moose Lodge in Zanesville and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Gloria is survived by her son Terry Erwin of Nashport; daughter Teresa (Randy) Salvti of Pickerington, OH; one brother Oran Eugene Chappelear of Roseville; five sisters Ella Wince of Zanesville, Opal Dunn of Roseville, Evelyn (Roger) Jessie of Zanesville, Emma Lou (Butch) Gadd of Florida and Julia Ann Gray of Nashport; four grandchildren Sydney and Harlie Erwin and Tyler and Travis Tysinger. Step children Mary Ann (Jim) Ford, Sandy (Bill) Hoy, Richard (Karen) Fenton, Vicki (Wayne) Orwig, Sheryl (Terry) Hardwick, Jody (Sonny Hood, Charles (Betsy) Fenton, Jovita (John) Spargrove and Clyde (Mary) Soller and several step grandchildren. Special family Martha Bickford and Linda Erwin.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Edward Erwin; second husband Richard Fenton; one brother, Leonard Chappelear; two sisters, Rossetta McGee and Alice Hinkaline; step daughter Dottie Benjamin.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8pm on Wednesday October 29, 2014 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Thursday October 28, 2014 in the Snouffer Chapel. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
