The 11th annual "Fall Brawl" amateur boxing classic is scheduled to be on Saturday, November 7 beginning at 7pm in the PAL facility at 804 Pine Street.
Paid admission includes FREE Domino's pizza and Pepsi and is only $10 at the door.
Fifteen bouts in all divisions are scheduled with local standouts matched with competition from three states. Four of Zanesville's national champions are already matched including Travis Jerig, Ken Todd Jr., Michael Roark and Akeem Mayle. On a special feature women's division match undefeated Jessi Dunlap will battle Tiffany Walker of Dover at 125 pounds.
Other team members matched include Michael Norris, Jeshua Luckett and Josh Hannum. Debut matches are expected for Zakery Rollins, Joey Wilson and Austin Hunter. More bouts are being made and are subject to changes.
The Zanesville team is fresh off of the National PAL tournament in Texas and is coached by T.J. Hartmeyer, Brady Boyden, Les Hasten, John Dunlap and Kelly Severt.
Proceeds from the show are used to fund local Police Athletic League programs and operations of the non-profit, all volunteer organization. Sponsors include Century National Bank, Mattingly Foods, Orthopaedic Association, Coconis Furniture and Joe Buckey Tire in addition to Pepsi and Domino's Pizza.
