George Franklin Gease, 94, passed away January 13, 2017 at his home in Nashport, OH. Frank was born June 29, 1922 in Columbus, OH where he grew up and went on to raise his family.Â Â A World War II United States Navy veteran, a farmer, bread man, milkman, landscaper, school & public library janitor, and gardener. Frank taught himself to do whatever needed to be done to survive and to support his family. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, husband, and son who always put others first. He had a strong work ethic, always striving for excellence in all that he did. He will be missed by family, friends, neighbors and caretakers alike.
Preceded in death by his parents, David E. and Myrtle Gease, wife Evelyn; brothers: Ben, Harold, Edward, Clyde, and Howard; Sisters: Francis Sark, Louise Hambel, Annabel Calderone; and grandson Frankie Poulos. Survived by son George (Annie) Gease of Columbus, OH; daughters Carolyn (Jim) Poulos of CA, and Peggy (Richard) Church of Venice, FL, Sister Marilyn Ulery, grandchildren Jimmy, Carla, Connie, Cathy, Rick and many grand and great grand children.
A celebration and remembrance of his life will be held at his home on Wednesday Jan 18, 4:00 PM â€“ 8:00 PM
