Anthony â€œSunnyâ€ Plott III, 73, of Johnstown, Ohio, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte, Florida. He was born on May 6, 1939, in Johnstown, Ohio, the oldest of 11 brothers and sisters, to the late Anthony B. II and Marie Harper Plott. He had worked as a laborer for Roper Manufacturing and was a former â€œmayorâ€ of Appleton, Ohio. He attended Appleton United Methodist Church and enjoyed antique cars.
Surviving are a son, Terry (Lisa) Plott; a daughter, Tammy (Art) Ruck; 8 grandchildren, Christopher, Brandon, Christy and Cortny Plott, Brandon (Kelsey) Ruck, Ian, Andrew, and Katie Ruck; a future great granddaughter, Rylee, on the way; his girlfriend of 19 years, Linda Piper; and many family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Shelly Ruck.
Friends and family may call from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Appleton United Methodist Church, 10927 Van Fossen Road, Johnstown, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the church with Pastor Eva Marie Wolfe officiating. Anthony will be laid to rest in Bennington Cemetery in Licking County near Johnstown, Ohio.
