Charles B. Klinehoffer, 78 , of Zanesville, passed away Friday, April 09, 2010, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.
Charlie was born on June 19, 1931 in Zanesville to the late Howard and Alta Phillips Klinehoffer. Charlie was a retired Machine Operator at Rockwell where he was the Union Steward. He was a member of the Eagles, VFW, American Legion, and loved to Golf at Fullerâ€™s.
He served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the US Army during the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years Roberta Ann â€œJackieâ€ Pickens Klinehoffer, seven children Charles (Lori) Klinehoffer, James (Tonya) Klinehoffer, David (Elaine) Klinehoffer, Patricia (Ike) Henry, Linda (Edward) Grimes, Richard (Tracy) Klinehoffer, and Michael (Jodi) Klinehoffer. Four step children Perl (Heather) Bryslan, Bernie (Dr. Christian Klem) Bryslan, Cindy (Don) Taylor, Mark (Lori) McClellan
Two brothers Harold â€œGeneâ€ (Sandy) Klinehoffer and Clarence â€œCWâ€ (Nancy) Johnson, two sisters Margaret Johnson and Betty Johnson Stotts. 25 Grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, 10 step grandchildren and seven step-great grandchildren. Seven nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his step-father Clarence Johnson, a sister Mary Klinehoffer Terrill, and a brother in law Jim Stotts.
Calling hours will be from 3-6pm on Tuesday April 13 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Services will be conducted by the Eagles at 6 pm and funeral services will follow in The Snouffer Chapel.
