David L. Hutton Sr., 59, of Zanesville, passed away at 10:35 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room. He was born May 26, 1953, in Zanesville, a son of Dorothy Gates Hutton of Zanesville and the late Paul Hutton. He was employed as a warehouse worker for Benco Pet Foods. He was a member of the D.A.V. (Disabled American Veterans) and he served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the U.S. Army for 10 years.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 40 years, Dorothy Jones Hutton of the home; a son, David Jr. (Shawnda) Hutton of Zanesville; a daughter, Anissa Hutton of Fredericksburg, VA; four grandchildren, Cheyenne and Micah Hutton and Cyrus and Dax Melick; two brothers, Mike (Sherry) Hutton of Dresden and Doug Hutton of Zanesville; and a sister, Laray (Dean) Spencer of Zanesville.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE and one hour prior to services at the church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012 at the Life Way Church, 2450 Maysville Pike, Zanesville with Rev. Arthur Potts and Rev. James Henderson officiating. David will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery. VFW George Selsam Post #1058 will hold full military rites at the graveside.
