Donald Roy Stotts 81, of Zanesville passed away on Friday February 12, 2010 at his residence. Donald was born in Adamsville on September 26, 1928 to the late Dwight and Flora Miner Stotts. Donald was a retired mechanic from United Parcel Service (UPS) where he faithfully worked for 28 years. He was the Union Steward at UPS, he loved to fish and spend time with his family as they always came first. Donald served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Ann Branstetter Stotts of the home, two sons Danny Lee Stotts and Michael Brian (Mary) Stotts both of Zanesville, two daughters Dawn Rochelle Stotts of Zanesville and Susan Lynette (Clint) Chambers of Dallas, TX, a sister Delores (Harold) Longstreth of Zanesville, Ten Grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and three very special nieces Robin, Patty, and Terri.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Stotts and a brother Harold Stotts.
Calling hours will be 3-6pm on Monday February 15 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 17, 2009 at 1:30pm in The Snouffer Chapel with calling from 12:00 to 1:30pm Wednesday February 17, 2009. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park with full Military Honors by The George Selsam VFW Post 1058.
