Donna Jean Crooks, 76 of Roseville passed away Tuesday June 4, 2013 at Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care Morrison House. She was born August 16, 1936 in New Lexington, a daughter of the late Robert J. and Mary Elizabeth Yarger Hazlett.
She had worked as a Telephone Operator in Crooksville, McCoy Pottery and Adams Lane Nursing Home and was a member of the Crooksville VFW Auxillary.
Donna is survived by her husband Rex C. Crooks, a daughter Debbie â€œEdâ€ Stevenson; 2 grandchildren Nicole and Brandon Stevenson of New Lexington; 5 sisters Helen Renick, Marian Nelson, Hazel Hinkle, Rita Gorley and Nita Harris; 4 brothers Kenneth, Harold, Paul and Roy Hazlett; 5 half-sisters Dorothy Holdcraft, Betty Mohler, Karen Hazlett, Kathy Euman and Linda Tolliver; 3 half-brothers Ralph, Charles and Johnnie Hazlett; one step-brother Francis Rehart; a favorite niece Reba and two sister-in-laws Wavalene Flowers of Las Cruces, NM and Garnett Crooks of Brandon, FL.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandparents, one sister Marjorie; step-mother Lena Shaw Hazlett and Step-Mother Mary Rehart Hazlett.
Calling hours will be held 2-4 and 6-8 on Thursday June 6, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 207 BURLEY STREET CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday June 7, 2013 at the Snouffer Funeral Home Crooksville Chapel with Rev. Gay Blau officiating. Donna will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery, Roseville.
