Dorothy C. Pyatt, 85, formerly of Philo, of Crystal River, Florida, passed away on March 16, 2010 at her home under the loving care of her family.
Dorothy was born on March 11, 1925 in Zanesville, the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Josephine (Kernan) Clark. She moved to Crystal River ten years ago from Philo. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary # 246 and a member of St. Annâ€™s Catholic Church in Philo.
Survived by her husband of 69 years, Joseph D. Pyatt of Crystal River, FL; son-in-law, Joe Brannon of Homosassa, FL; brotherâ€™s-in-law, Leo Pyatt and Thomas Pyatt both of Columbus, OH and Robert Pyatt of NC; sisterâ€™s-in-law, Lillian Collopy and Margaret Trout both of Zanesville, OH; granddaughters, Terri (Richard) Stephens of New Albany, IN, Kristina (David) Dix of Homosassa, FL and Andrea (Mike) Humphreys of Crystal River, FL; great grandchildren, Daniel, Kaitlyn, Natalie, Olivia and Lincoln Stephens, Aaron, Adam and Caleb Dix, Tyler and Jordan Humphreys; one nephew Danny Fagan of Columbus, OH.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Kathy Brannon; three brothers Vincent Clark, Lawrence Clark Jr. and Richard J. Clark and her two sisters Mary White and Frances Fagan.
Visitations will be 6 to 8 pm Friday March 19th, at the Thompson-Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 11 am Saturday with a Dominican Father as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Anns Cemetery, Philo.
