Dottie S. Benjamin, 58, of Zanesville, passed away at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born June 11, 1954, in Muskingum County, a daughter of the late Richard K. and Minnie Georgeoff Fenton. She had worked as a factory worker for 5Bâ€™s, Akro and United Technologies. She was a member of the Muskingum County Genealogy Association. She enjoyed crafting and genealogy.
Surviving are her husband, Donald E. Benjamin of the home; her three children, Donald K. Benjamin of Zanesville, Debbie Cottrell of Rockford, OH and Deanna (Michael) Crouch of Springboro, OH; her step mother, Gloria Fenton; six sisters, Mary Ann (Jim) Ford, Sandra (Bill) Hoy, Vicky (Wayne) Orwig, Sheryl (Terry) Hardwick, Jody (Sonny) Hood and Jovita (John) Spargrove; three brothers, Richard (Karen) Fenton, Charlie (Betsy) Fenton and Clyde (Mary) Soller; three grandchildren, Kolton, Aiden and Dylan; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Thelma Fenton and Myrtle and John Georgeoff.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, September 27, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 28, 2012 at the funeral home with Dr. Dennis Baker officiating. Dottie will be laid to rest at Greenwood Cemetery.
