Fredda W. Adams, 95, of Zanesville died 12:45am Monday Jan. 14, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center following a short illness.
She was born June 12, 1917 in Defiance Pa. the daughter of John and Amelia Agnes (Fulk) Lewis. Fredda had been a member of the Methodist Church in Defiance Pa. for many years and had been employed as an RN for Good Samaritan Hospital for 33 years. She was also an Eastern Star 485 member for over 50 years and a member of the District Nurses Assoc. for over 33 years.
She is survived by a son Fred (Linda) Adams of Nashport, two daughters Sally A. (William) Shipley of Hanover and Deborah J. (Donald) Smith of Nashport; Grandchildren Jennifer L. (Alan) Lauvray, Vincent E. (Amanda) Adams, Travis (Sarah) Shipley, Paul (Michelle) Adams, Samatha Wells, Kenney Wells III, Adam McDonald, and Amanda McDonald; 13 Great Grandchildren, a niece Georgia G. Glunt and a son-in-law Kenny Wells Jr. She was preceded in death in addition to her parents was her daughter Susan Wells, three sisters, 2 brothers in law, a nephew and a niece.
Friends may call 6pm to 8pm today, Tuesday January 15th and 11am to 1pm Wednesday January 16th at the Bryan & Snider Funeral Home, 2318 Maple Ave. Funeral services will be held at 1pm Wed January 16th at the Funeral Home with Rev. Joy French officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
