Geneva Welch, 67 of Frazeysburg passed away Friday, April 30, 2010 at her home.
Geneva was born in Morgan County, June 29 1942, to the late Homer & Geneva Barnhart Smith. She worked for the McCoy and Brush Potteries and The Longaberger Company. She was also a member of the Roseville American Legion and Crooksville VFW.
Geneva is survived by her loving husband Theodore Welch; three sons: Steve Dunwoody of Frazeysburg, David Dunwoody of Crooksville and Robbin (Angie Dusenberry) Dunwoody of Roseville; a sister, Carolyn Thorp-Crowley (Larry); a son-in-law Brian Taylor of Zanesville, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her step-father Warren Crain; a daughter, Lura Taylor; two brothers: Larry & Roger Smith, a sister Linda Smith, a grandson James Dunwoody and a great-grandson Kayden Gonzalez.
The family would like to express heart-felt thanks to her special granddaughters, Jeannie Williams and Natasha Dunwoody.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Monday May 3, 2010 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville. Services will be 1 pm Tuesday, May 4 in the Snouffer Chapel in Crooksville officiated by Pastor Larry Penrod. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery in Portersville.
