Goldie Mae James, 87, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Autumn Healthcare of Zanesville. She was born on October 2, 1925, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Edward Elmer and Ellen Bright Dusenberry. She had worked as a factory worker for Weatherhead. She was a believer in Jesus Christ.
Surviving are a son, Bill James of Galloway, OH; a daughter, Carol Palmer of Kissimmee, FL; 3 grandchildren, William James Jr., Scott James and Shelli (Thomas) Holmes; 5 great grandchildren, Kayla, Cody, Cameron, Cole and Chelsea; and a sister, Bonnie Hardin of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Dusenberry; and a sister, Bernice Huffman.
No calling hours or services will be held. A dignified cremation has taken place. A burial will be held at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
