Jack Kevin Parsons, 52, of Zanesville passed away at Adams Lane Care Center on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Jack was born in Zanesville on March 24, 1960 to the late Jack Keith Parsons and Pauline Huddleston Parsons. He was an offensive tackle on his high school football team where he was nominated for the prestigious Lombardi Award and earned a trophy for being the best offensive tackle. A favorite pastime was watching Pro Football on television. He was a straight A student and on the National Dean’s List.
He is survived by two brothers: Keith Parsons and Harold (Ruth Ann) Newell and Nieces Candra (Melvin) Mahlke and Dade Newell, and Uncles Glen and Wayne Huddleston. Also, surviving are several loving cousins and friends.
The family is being served by the BRYAN & SNIDER FUNERAL HOME, 2318 Maple Avenue where visitation will be Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 2-6 P.M. Funeral Service will be at 11 A.M. Monday, August 20th at the Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Copen officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Zanesville.
