Juanita Fern Hill, 91, of Fultonham, formerly of Crooksville, passed away at 10:12 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. She was born January 23, 1921, in Perry County, a daughter of the late Harvey and Garnett Moody North. She retired from Essex Wire.
Surviving are three sons, Everett Hill Jr. of Somerset, Charles Hill of New Lexington and John W. (Carolyn) Hill of Fultonham; six daughters, Ann (Bob) Pletcher of South Zanesville, Toby Burns, Sue (Randy) Bowen and Evelyn (Roger) Pletcher, all of Deavertown, Margaret Bankes of South Zanesville and Jeannie Hiles of Crooksville; two sisters, Sylvia Fiorre of New Lexington and Lea Jones of Las Vegas, NV; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett S. Hill Sr., who died December 23, 2003; two sons, Rodger and Isaac Arthur Hill; two brothers, Sonny and Walter North; and two sisters, Annabelle Williams and Mary Bates.
Friends and family may call from 6-8 p.m. today, Friday, August 31, 2012 and 12-2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 BURLEY ST., CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Taylor officiating. Juanita will be laid to rest next to her husband, Everett Sr., in Iliff Cemetery.
