Kenneth Ray Wood, 45 of Crooksville, passed away at his home, Thursday, July 15, 2010. He was born August 21, 1964 to Tommy (Carol) and the late Leila Faye Wilson Wood. He was employed in the warehouse for Mattingly Foods. Kenny graduated from Crooksville High School. He loved Crooksville Football, Jeff Gordon, Ohio State Football and enjoyed his motorcycle. He was also a member of the South Zanesville Nazarene Church. Kenny cherished his family and his church.
In addition to his father and step-mother, Kenny is survived by his wife Karen Harrison Wood of the home, daughters: Kenda (Marc) Harper of Crooksville, Kera Wood of Malta, Kalan Wood of Malta; brothers: Steve Wood of Roseville, Kelly (Teresa) Wood of Newark; sisters: Brenda (Ed) Hoops of New Lexington, Linda (Marlin) Wilson of Rosefarm, Pam (Jeff) Wolfe of New Lexington and Janey Wood of Roseville, a grandson Aiden Harper and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Virginia Buckley and paternal grandparents John and Gladys Wood and a sister in law Marlene Wood.
Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 P.M., Sunday, July 18, 2010 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 Burley Street, Crooksville, Oh. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M., Monday, July 19 at the funeral home with Pastor Walt Gesner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb Cemetery.
