Louis Frederick â€œFredâ€ Dusenberry, 93 of Zanesville passed away on Tuesday December 10, 2013 at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.
Fred was born in Zanesville on June 28, 1920 to the late Leo and Teresa Getz Dusenberry. Fred was a hard worker having been employed by, Keslar Appliance, and Essex Wire and was retired from Mid Atlantic Canners. He was an amateur radio operator since 1968 (W8AMK).
He is survived by his wife of 72 years Wilma Weekley Dusenberry whom he married on April 23, 1941, two daughters; Teresa Jesse of Zanesville and Judy Bush of Blue Rock, 11 Grandchildren: Cheryl (Marty) DuMolt, David Bush,Tina (Tim) Brookover, Tamara (Mark) Wilson with whom they resided, Becky, Candy, Larry, Joe, Maryann, Carl, and Victor. Several Great and Great-Great Grandchildren, including a special great-granddaughter Teresa Ann Fleming. A sister Frances Sherfy, three brothers: Raymond (Ruth) Dusenberry, Vincent Dusenberry, and Edward (Susan) Dusenberry. A sister-in-law, Elaine Dusenberry. Also surviving are his beloved dog Angel , special friends Ron (Jean) Whipkey, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Dusenberry, Sisters: Mary Randles, Marge Randles, and Patty Robertson, Brothers: George, Richard, and Leo â€œRickâ€ Dusenberry, a son-in-law Jim Jesse and two great-grandchildren Andrew DuMolt and Ehan Bush.

Calling hours will be 2-4 and 6-8pm on Thursday December 12, 2013 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held in the Snouffer Chapel at 11am on Friday with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
