HILLIS & HARDWICK OBIT: Maudie M. MayLee, 89
Maudie M. MayLee, 89, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, September 16, 2010 at Willow Haven Care Center in Zanesville due to end-stage renal disease.
Born August 19, 1921, Maudie was a loving mother and grandmother. Retired as a seamstress from the Richman Brothers Clothing Store, she was widowed in 1962.
Maudie is survived by two sons, Frank (Jeannie) Driskel and Bob (Sherry) MayLee, and a daughter-in-law Teresa MayLee Matson. She is also survived by six adoring grandchildren: Frank, Mike, Tanya, Brandi, Bobbie and Danielle; fifteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren – all who affectionately knew Maudie as an honest, trustworthy, and GodÂ fearing woman. She will be sorely missed by the MayLee and Driskel families, yet they will always have her in their hearts.
Visitation will be held on Monday September 20th from 2pm till time of service at 2:30pm at the Hillis & Hardwick Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
