Nancy Lou Jones, 74, of Zanesville, went to her reward in Heaven at 7:10 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2012 at the Beckett House at New Concord. She was born March 24, 1938, in Fultonham, Ohio, a daughter of the late Gordon and Donna Clayton Bowden. She had worked for Brockway Glass and in the deli department for Riesbeck’s Pick’ N Save and the South Zanesville IGA. She was a member of The Anchor Church.
Surviving are her husband, John W. Jones of the home; three sons, Douglas (Denise) Liggett and Rick (Cindy) Liggett, both of Zanesville and Austin (Jessica) Jones of Wrightstown, NJ; a step daughter, Misty (Richard) Wintgens of Crooksville; 11 grandchildren, Tiffany, Nathan, Sawyer, Ryan, Seth, Ethan, Noah, Tianna, Joseph, Antony and Alicia; 4 great grandchildren, Logan, Lauren, Avery and Allie; and a sister, Sharlene Jenkins of Zanesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Bowden; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce (Chuck) Dupler and Arlene (Gary) Stalling.
Calling hours will be held from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, December 13, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE and from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at THE ANCHOR CHURCH, 1365 CHAMBERLIN ST., ZANESVILLE with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Nancy will be laid to rest in Brushy Fork Cemetery.
