Ned Henry Elliott, Sr. ,83 of Adamsville, Ohio died at his home
surrounded by his loving family at 5:25 a.m. Saturday January 5, 2013 after a long battle with
He was a retired electrician through IBEW Local 1105; served in the United States Air force from 1952-1956 and was a Lifetime member of the Roseville American Legion Post 71 and Zanesville VFW Post 1058.
Ned had an amazingly big heart and a love for life like no other. He was a loving husband,
father, grandfather, great grandfather, son- in-law and brother- in-law. Had the most beautiful
smile, wonderful sense of humor with a big hearty infectious laugh to go along with it. He will
be truly missed by all those who had the great pleasure of loving him, knowing him and
spending time with him. He loved working with his hands, going mushroom hunting, working in
the yard and of course helping others. God could not have made a better man.
He was born July 30, 1929 the son of the late Henry Joseph “Peck” Elliott and Lucille Deaver
Elliott in Roseville, Ohio.
Surviving are his loving wife and best friend Tina Williams Elliott whom he married May 4,
1984. Two great granddaughters, Stacey Elliott and Rayn West and their rescue dog Chloe all of
the home.
Also surviving are two sons Ned Jr. (Tammy) Elliott of Crooksville, John (Patti) Elliott of Georgia.
Granddaughters Mindy Elliott, her fiancé Leon Logan Jr. of Dayton, Mandy Elliott Taylor of
Crooksville, Brittany Elliott of Newark, Miranda Elliott, her fiancé Kaden Dodson of Zanesville,
Carmen (Dave) Inman Of Georgia and Lauren (Adam) Davis also of Georgia.
Great grandchildren, Leon Logan III, Braxton Elliott, Olivia Abrams, Daven and Avery Inman and
Emilyn Davis.
He was preceded in death by one brother and sister- in-law ,John (Jack) Elliott and Winnie Elliott,
sister Jean Elliott and sister and brother -in-law, Joanne and Sonny Norman and their German
Shepherds Tasha and Molly.
At Ned’s request a caring cremation by SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 W. MILITARY RD. ZANESVILLE will take place with no calling hours or services. Burial will take place at Rose Hill
Cemetery in Roseville at a later date.
