Paul Elsworth Nutter Jr., 87 of Zanesville passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013 at Willow Haven Nursing Home. He was born in Zanesville, OH, a son of the late Paul Sr. and Florence Houk Nutter.
Paul was retired from Coshocton City Schools as the Transportation Superintendent. He was a member of The Anchor Church, enjoyed reading the Bible and talking to people about God, He was the former Pastor of Christian Apostolic Church in Coshocton. He was a former race car driver, who enjoyed NASCAR, playing the guitar and baseball. Paul served our Country and protected our freedom in The US Army.
He is survived by 3 sons Andy, Benny (Tracey), Kenny (Lisa) Nutter; 3 daughters Beverly Carpenter, Judy (Dean) Rinehart and Cindy (Rick) Liggett; one sister Norma Jean Addis; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Mae Kennison Nutter on July 27, 2011 , a daughter Rebekah Nutter on May 2, 2013 and an infant son Danny Nutter.
Visitation will be held from 6-9pm on Wednesday, November 20 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE and from 11am to 12pm on Thursday at THE ANCHOR CHURCH 1365 CHAMBERLIN STREET ZANESVILLE where services will be held at 12 (Noon) with Pastor Aaron Bounds officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with Full Military Honors by George Selsam VFW Post 1058.
