Virgie Louella Fulk, 83, of Crooksville, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born January 20, 1929, in McLuney, Ohio, a daughter of the late Hugh Benton and Cecil Faye Eveland Stoneburner. She graduated from McLuney High School Class of 1948.
Surviving are her husband, Paul Fulk of the home; a son, Garry Fulk of the home; two daughters, Paula (Steve) Frazier of Crooksville and Jean Lantz of New Lexington; 5 grandchildren, Kelly Fulk, Jamie (Pat) Loterbaugh, Carrie Samantha Bateson, Vicky Loterbaugh and Timmy (Cindy) Lantz; a step granddaughter, Tara (J.R.) Roe; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; 5 step great grandchildren; 4 step great-great grandchildren; three sisters, twin Louise Carletti of Zanesville, Rosemary Weaver of Crooksville and Pauline (Johnny) Loop of Winter Haven, FL; and a sister-in-law, Rozella Stoneburner of Rose Farm.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Raymond, Harold, Vernon, Maurice and Levi Stoneburner and an infant; four sisters, Margie Palmer, Jennie Smith, Minnie Eileen Stoneburner and Evelyn Faye Stoneburner; and a nephew, Stephen Carletti.
No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Oakfield Wesleyan Church, 3583 St. Rt. 13 with Pastor Dan Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow in Iliff Cemetery with Pastor Gay Blau officiating.
