William A. “Weasel” Weaver, 68, of Zanesville, passed away at 7:38 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room. He was born May 22, 1944, in Perry County, a son of the late Alfred Lucas and Juanita Weaver Eby. He had worked for Lear Corp. and retired as a truck driver for Goodwill Industries. He was a member of the Eagles and American Legion and enjoyed motorcycles and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving wife of 27 years, Deanna Tate Weaver, whom he married July 27, 1985, of the home; a son, Melvin “Mel” Weaver of Mt. Perry; a daughter, Anita (Fiancé Brad Spencer) Dunlap of Mt. Perry; three grandchildren, Dustin (Allison) Dunlap, Kalie Dunlap and Slade Spencer; a great granddaughter, Ellie Dunlap; two sisters, Kay Ball and Kimberly Palone, both of Zanesville; several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews; and a special cat, Blackie.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step father, Don Eby.
Friends and family may call from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 W MILITARY RD., ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012 at the funeral home. William will be laid to rest at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
