Patricia Jane Hupp (March 31, 1933 – October 30, 2014)

Patricia Jane Barks Hupp, 81, of Zanesville, died at 4:40 A.M. on Thursday, October 30, 2014, at the Primrose Retirement Community. She was born March 31, 1933, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Frank W. and Mildred Yocum Barks. She was a graduate of Rosecrans High School, had worked as a Secretary for Bosch Rexroth, then Racine Hydraulics, where she retired in 1992, and she was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

She is survived by three daughters, Debbie (Alan) Mitchell of New Albany, Denise (Jay) Whitehurst of Orlando, FL, and Dixie Hupp of Hillard; three grandchildren, Gregory Whitehurst, Bryan Whitehurst, and Benjamin Mitchell; a sister Judy (Robert) Wahl of Gratiot; a brother William (Ellen) Barks of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard F. “Dick” Hupp, who died March 13, 2011; a brother and sister-in-law Hank and Doy Talley Barks who both died October 2014.

Friends and family may call from 4:00-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE, where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, November 3, 2014, with Father Stephen Hayes officiating. She will be laid to rest at Poplar Fork Cemetery, Gratiot.
