Paul J. DuBeck, Sr. (September 30, 1928 – January 7, 2015)

Paul J. DuBeck Sr., age 86 of New Concord, died 5:43 AM, Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. He was born Sunday, September 30, 1928 in Akron, the son of John DuBeck and Cecelia (Hermann) DuBeck. He married his bride of over 66 years, Marceline J. (Macale) DuBeck on July 30, 1948 and was a member of Saint Timothy’s Catholic Church, The Villages, Florida.

He was owner of Fred Raymond’s Clothing Store and Moore’s Jewelry Store both in Cambridge. Paul was a active member of Knights of Columbus, where he was a 4th Degree Knight; he loved to golf and was a great bowler. Paul was proud to be and loved to play the “Godfather” of the DuBeck Family, but most of all he loved to dance with his beloved wife Marcy.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by three daughters: Susan & Mark Crews, Diane & Gary Mbiad and Beth DuBeck; two sons: Paul & Laurel DuBeck, Jr. all of Zanesville and Mark DuBeck of Florida; fourteen grandchildren: seventeen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends in The Villages in Florida.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by one brother and one great grandchild: Sophia Adair
