Ruth E. Schramm (September 7, 1912 – November 29, 2014)
Ruth E. Schramm , 102 of Zanesville died at 11:30pm Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the The Oaks at Northpointe.
She was born on September 7, 1912 in Zanesville the daughter of Harry E. and Geneva Holmes Miles.
Ruth was a member of the Coburn United Methodist Church, retired in 1988 as House Mother for the Good Samaritan School of Nursing and also worked at the information desk for 18 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Rosa Shrine #52 and an avid card player.
She is survived by two daughters, Shirley A. Stadler and Barbara L. (Chuck ) Rock both of Zanesville; 6 grandchildren, Todd (Michelle) Rock, Keely (Dana) Matz, Eric (Jacque) Rock, Kyle (Maria) Rock, Dustin (DeAnn) Rock & Teresa (Darin Jordan) Rock; 11 great grandchildren, Abbey Rock, Cheyenne Matz, Dakota Matz, Misty Gabriel, Kilie Rock, Kassidy Rock, Kade Rock, Ryder Rock, Rayna Rock, Tristan Rock & Ashleigh Rock; and one great great grandson on the way; numerous friends including Christy Watson and special friend Kate Johnson. Ruth was preceded in death in addition to her parents by her husband Albert J. Schramm and her son-in-law Walter Stadler.
Friends may call 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, December 02, 2014 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home where funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, December 03, 2014 at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home with Chaplain Tim Patton officiating. Burial will conclude at the Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery, Military Rd.
