Ruth V. Luburgh (May 7, 1923 – September 14, 2014)
Ruth Virginia Luburgh, 91, of Zanesville, passed away at 8:22 PM on Sunday September 14, 2014 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.
She was born May 7, 1923 in Woodsfield the daughter of the late William Henry and Magdalene Dye Hupp. Ruth co-founded C.M. Luburgh Construction Co. (now known as Luburgh Inc.) with her late husband Clata in 1944. She was the foundation of the Luburgh family, a strong woman who dedicated herself to family, work, church, friends and life.
Ruth is survived by her three sons: Clata Otto (Sally) Luburgh, Henry (Sandy wife of 51 years) Luburgh and Andrew Luburgh, ten grandchildren: Mark Luburgh, Matt (Elyse) Luburgh, Curt (Dee) Luburgh, Crystal (Jeff) Wise, Cynthia Luburgh, Jami (Jay) Ward, Jason Luburgh, Emily Stainbrook, Grant Stainbrook and Kelly Stainbrook, 12 great grandchildren: Clayton Luburgh, Craig Luburgh, Kathleen Luburgh, Paige (Jacob) Parks, Hanna Luburgh, Slade Luburgh, Sydney Erwin, Harlie Erwin, Cole Luburgh, Brock Luburgh, Tide Ward and Shania Wise. Two great, great grandchildren: Koen Moore and Knox Parks.
Preceding her in death were parents, husband: Clata who died in 1973, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and her first great grand-daughter Lisa Renee Luburgh.
Private family services will be held at the Bryan & Hardwick Funeral Home 2318 Maple Ave Zanesville.
