In the first few months of 2010, both the Zanesville Fire and Police departments are on target.

While budgets are tight across the state, and departments are finding themselves cutting back, the Muskingum County Probation Department is right on track.

Even though the 2010 Winter Olympics are thousands of miles away this year, Ohioans are still excited to to follow Team USA.

As 2009 draws towards its end it's time to decide what you will promise to get right in 2010 and what you won't miss.

With the national unemployment rate at ten percent Denzil Hill says he won't miss being unemployed.

"I'm hoping the economy picks up and we all starting getting jobs out there and do our thing. That's what I'm really hoping for."

The Muskingum County Commissioners were talking about budget issues today. Commissioner John Bates feels confident in the new year's financial plan.

"It's up 30% of what he actually projected. So we're in better shape than what we had," Commissioner Bates said.
