With gas prices on the rise, drivers are beginning to change their spending habits...

AAA Auto Club conducted a survey to see how drivers have tightened their pocket books. Spokesperson Kimberly Schwind said because drivers cannot control the gas prices, they're at least controlling the impact by changing their driving routines.

With gas prices jumping once again, motorist are certainly feeling the pain at the pump.

The average price for regular in Ohio is now up to $3.73 a gallon; about 35 cents more than this time last year.

AAA is offering easy, fuel saving tips to cut back on the amount of fuel you use.

AAA has found a creative way to remind drivers to stay safe on the road this holiday season.

The event was called 'First a Friend, then a Host', which featured a friendly competition among AAA workers. They made 'mocktails', which are non-alcoholic cocktails, in order to promote sober driving. Many people are guilty of talking on the phone or texting while driving, and now federal safety investigators are making an effort to ban those distractions.

The National Transportation Safety Board is recommending that all states impose a total ban except for emergencies.  Spokesperson Kimberly Schwind said AAA is aware of the danger involved in operating cell phones behind the wheel, but she said the motor club is focusing attention specifically on texting.

A new study shows that practice is the key to safety for teen drivers.
