One person was killed in an industrial accident in Licking County Friday morning. It happened near Hebron at the Canal Road Bridge over I-70 around 10 a.m. An Ohio Department of Transportation official says a contract worker on a bridge replacement project was struck by a steel beam and died. The Zanesville Highway Patrol is investigating an accident that resulted in a vehicle through the roof of a garage. It happened Tuesday morning around 9 a.m. on Newark Road. Troopers say the driver was traveling east, went off the right side of the road, hit a mailbox, and then went off the left side of the road near Adams Lane. Roseville, Crooksville and New Lexington crews responded to a two vehicle crash that happened around 5 p.m. on Monday at the intersection of Ridge St. and Route 93 in Crooksville.

The accident involving a car and truck happened around 5:15p.m. on Gene Cox Memorial Drive just east of Dresden. Fire crews and a MedFlight helicopter responded to the scene near a crop field.

"It appears that the Dodge truck was backing out of this farm field. It was in the middle of the road when the Honda came over the rise from the railroad crossing and the Honda was unable to stop to avoid hitting the truck," said Bill Duerson of The Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The Zanesville Post of the Highway Patrol is investigating a one vehicle accident that happened around 10:30 Friday morning. Trooper Mike Forshey says a car was traveling on Millers Lane between 50 and 60 miles an hour and went onto the berm, overcorrected, and flipped over into a field. Trooper Forshey says there were two people in the car. They were not injured. The driver will be cited with failure to control. Names and other details have not yet been released.

According to Zanesville Police, early Sunday night, a female driving a pick-up truck was going north bound on Maysville Avenue and failed to yield to another car, driven by a male, that was going south bound in the intersection on Pine Street.

The three vehicle crash occured on I-70 . The Ohio State Patrol responded to a call about a single vehicle crash where a car had rolled over into the grassy median. While the responding patrol officer was waiting on back-up and fire personnel to assist, she saw another crash coming her way.

Zanesville Police are investigating an accident that damaged a business near the Veterans Bridge.

It happened shortly after 5:00 p.m. Friday.

Police say an elderly woman was driving west on Adair Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a storage unit causing significant damage.

Police say the driver was not injured.

No other details are being released at this time.

One person is in the hospital following a two car accident on Northpointe Drive.

According to the State Highway Patrol, it happened just before 5:30 Tuesday night.  Trooper Adam McKenzie said a Ford Taurus attempted to make a left turn off of McGlade School Road and failed to yield to a Ford Mustang on Northpointe Drive.

The driver of the Mustang was taken by Dresden EMS to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.  Trooper McKenzie said the driver of the Taurus will be cited...

The Highway Patrol is investigating another serious accident in Muskingum County.  Troopers say it happened on McGlade School Road just before 2 p.m.   The Patrol says one vehicle was involved and ended up off the road.  There were five people in the car and the Patrol said the driver was ejected.  All of the victims were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital.  The driver was flown from Good Sam to Ohio State University Medical Center.  No names were released....
