A pickup truck slammed into a house after a two vehicle injury accident in Zanesville.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, in front of 517 Ball Street. Zanesville Police Officer Terry Sheets says, a Ford van, driven by 47-year-old Mary Gheen was headed East on Ball Street when her van was struck by a Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by 31-year-old Jamie Burleigh. One man is taken to the hospital following a rollover crash Friday in Perry County.

According to a dispatcher with the Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol, it happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. A man in a Cheverolet S-10 pick-up truck was traveling on State Route 668 just outside Junction City when he lost control of his truck and it flipped onto its side near Garey Road.

A two vehicle accident on Newark road Tuesday morning sent one person to the hospital.

It happened just after ten a.m.. Zanesville Highway Patrol Sergeant Chuck Merryman says 26 year old Zachary Taylor of Duncan Falls was headed eastbound on Newark road in a 1995 Ford Escort, when he struck a semi that was attempting to turn onto Newark road from Old Newark road. The State Highway Patrol is asking motorists to use an alternate route if planning to travel on U.S. 40 near the McDonalds located at 2605 West Pike.

Lanes are shut down in both directions due to a serious injury crash involving two vehicles.

A man is injured after his vehicle slams into a building.

Around 8:30 p.m. on Friday, the Zanesville Police Department received a 911 call that a vehicle had struck a home in the area of Harvey Street.

"When we showed up here on Harvey Street it appeared that a car southbound on 9th had come off of the road for several hundred feet and crashed into a garage that is used for storage behind 915 Marietta," said Sgt. Chris Phipps.

Freezing rain and ice are to blame for several area accidents Sunday afternoon.

Police say a 6-year-old and his 4-year-old brother were hospitalized after their uncle, 26-year-old Joseph Sims of Chandlersville hit a patch of ice on Millers Lane in Zanesville and flipped his Oldsmobile Bravada SUV.

The young boys are said to be okay. They were taken to Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital as a pre-caution.

Both eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near Cambridge have re-opened after an early monring accident.  It happened around 2:00 am. just east of State Route 209.  The Highway Patrol says the accident involved a car and a semi-tractor trailer.  The accident remains under investigation.

The Cambridge Post of the State Highway Patrol says one lane is now open on I-70 near Cambridge. Troopers say I-70 eastbound just east of State Route 209 was closed just before 2:00 am Thursday after a semi tractor trailer and a car were involved in an accident. A dispatcher says the right lane of the interstate eastbound is now open to traffic. The accident remains under investigation.

The Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol is investigating a one car rollover accident. It happened on the I-70 westbound on-ramp near Norwich. The cause of the accident is under investigation.

Two people are transported to the hospital following a serious injury crash on State Route 60 in Dresden.

It happened around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday near State Route 208.

According to the Zanesvile Post of the State Highway Patrol, 23-year-old Noah Everly driving a Nissan Maxima was traveling southbound and went left of center striking 34-year-old Goran Zarov head on. He was driving a white BMW.
