A family friend of an 18-year-old Crooksville teen, who died from a hit-skip accident last weekend, is prepared to offer a $1,000 reward for anyone who can shed light on the incident.

The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, has set up the fund with the Crooksville Police Department. Anyone with information is asked to contact Deputy Chief Joe Carr or the Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol.

A 19-year-old Coshocton teen is dead following a morning accident.

It happened around 9:45 a.m. on State Route 541, near Township Road 54 B.

The Coshocton County Sheriff's Office says Casey Moran drifted off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and went off the right side of the road again. Deputies say the car struck an embankment, overturned, and ejected Moran, before the car came to rest on top of her.

A two car accident sends a pick up truck through a Zanesville home Monday afternoon.

It happened around 2:45pm at the intersection of Pine Street and Muskingum Avenue. Patrolman Sandy McElhaney with the Zanesville Police Department said a red Toyota Tacoma collided with a blue Chevrolet pick-up truck, sending the Tacoma through a porch at 797 Muskingum Avenue.

A man is dead following an overnight accident on State Route 93 in Perry County. It happened around three a.m. in Harrison Township, near State Route 669.

The Lancaster Post of the State Highway Patrol says 18-year-old David Savage Jr. was walking southbound when he was struck by a vehicle. The Perry County Coroner pronounced Savage dead at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation. Troopers says it's unclear if alcohol was a factor.

An 18 year old girl is taken to Southeastern Medical Center following an ATV accident.

Trooper Charles McDonnell of the State Highway Patrol says 55-year old Rockie Black of Cambridge was traveling Westbound on State Route 209 when he began to turn left into a private drive. As he did, two ATV's traveling Eastbound came upon the vehicle. The first ATV ran into the front of the Ford Ranger. The driver of that ATV was 18-year-old Brooke Larocco. A two-car accident closed the Eastbound lane on Maysville Pike.

It happened around 5p.m. at the intersection of Maysville Pike and West Main Street. Patrolman Chris Andrews with the South Zanesville Police Department says the collision occured with a two door Ford Escort and a four door Chevy Trailblazer.

Authorities say slick roads led to an injury accident Tuesday in Washington Township.

It happened around 4 p.m. at the intersection of Boggs Road and Lovers Lane. According to Trooper Stephen Williams with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol, a red Ford Contour went left-of-center and hit the driver's side of a blue GMC Jimmy.

An accident on State Route 16 in Hanover Township closed down Eastbound lanes for almost two hours.

State Highway Patrol Trooper Mike Epler says Joseph Brown from Canal Winchester was traveling West on State Route 16 when his front left tire blew out causing him to cross the median and both Eastbound lanes. The company truck he was driving came to rest off the side of the road.

The Ohio Department of Transportation, District 5 Deputy Director Karl D. Newman announced that State Route 16 east was closed near mile marker 30, just east of Hanover due to an accident.  It happened around 1:00 this afternoon and the road was closed around 2:00.  Now the accident scene has been cleared and the roadway is reopened.

A man is seriously injured after an accident near Chauncey in Athens County.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. on State Route 550.

State troopers say 46-year-old Michael Waller was traveling west on his motorcycle, when the vehicle overturned and ejected him.

Waller was taken by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus with what troopers are calling serious injuries.
